Theme of message: Trust, Reliance, Patience, Belief

My personal prayer for today’s message is: Father God, I need your strength to trust in you in all things. I do believe you. However, when I find myself in a very difficult place like I do now, I want to take over and try to fix it myself. I am trying to learn to leave it with you once I pray about it. I will be watching for what only you can do in my current circumstances. Everything I have tried has not worked. Thank you for your patience with me. - Amen

How does this message apply to me? I need to believe and trust that God knows everything and is working it out in His timing. He is far more capable than I will ever be at solving the issues in my life. When the answers are not coming as quickly as I would like, I need to learn to stand and wait.

Applicable scriptures.

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” (John 14:1)

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will tr

ust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2)

“And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.” (Psalm 9:10)

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” (Psalm 56:3)

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks

to him.” (Psalm 28:7)

“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27)

“‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.’” (Jeremiah 32:17)

“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” (Job 42:2)

“The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” (Exodus 14:14)

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27)

What has God spoken to you through this message? That I need to put my full trust in Him and what He is capable of.

How can you apply this message to your life? I can learn not to get overwhelmed by the situations of this life. I can give all my cares to God and know that He will provide answers.

How can you use this message to show God’s unconditional love to others? By telling them that God loves them a

nd won’t leave them and has made provisions for all their issues if they will learn to trust Him and His purposes.

What have you have learned through this message and scriptures? There were people like David that struggled in the Bible too. Time and time again we see as he trusted in God that answers and help were provided. It is a constant process of learning to let go and let God.
