Theme of message: Faith, Provision, Trust

My personal prayer for today’s message is: Heavenly Father, help me to trust you and your words that you will provide for my every need. Help me when I find myself in a time of testing to know that you are still at work and will not give me more than I can handle. Remind me not only to ask you for what I need but to thank you for what you have already provided. - Amen
How does this message apply to me? I need to learn to trust God in all circumstances and know that He will provide for my every need.
Applicable scriptures.
He will provide:
Peace – “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
Companionship – “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Comfort – “Blessed be the God and Fat
her of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
Love – “For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.” (Isaiah 54:10)
Long life – “You shall walk in all the way that the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess.” (Deuteronomy 5:33)
Provision – “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD.
He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah
17:7-8)
Protection – “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” (Psalm 91:14-16)
Direction – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:6-7)
Hope – “For I know the plans I have
for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Strength – “Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.” (Psalm 55:12)
Calling – “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Blessings for my offspring – “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” (Isaiah 44:3)
Wisdom – “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” (James 1:5)
Healing – “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases. (Psalm 103:2-3)
Eternal life – “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” (James 1:12)
Rewards – “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
Prosperity – “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.” (Psalm 1:1-3)
Salvation – “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16)
Basic needs – “And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!” (Luke 12:22-24)
Everything – “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
What has God spoken to you through this message?
That he has and will provide everything that I need. This does not mean that he will provide everything that I want.
How can you apply this message to your life? I can pray and thank God that He has everything I need. I can give Him my worries and anxieties knowing that He will give me peace and strength. I can have comfort knowing that as I serve Him, He will provide for me and my offspring.
How can you use this message to show God’s unconditional love to others? By sharing with them what God’s words says about what He will do for us as we obey Him and live according to His words. This message can bring hope to those that are hurting.
What have you have learned through this message and scriptures? That God, being perfect, has already made provision for whatever I need as long as I am following Him. If I am walking according to His words and plans for my life, I have the eternal hope of everlasting life.
