Theme of message: Hope, Grace, Glory

My personal prayer for today’s message is: God, let me daily be reminded of the ways I am to honor you. Show me anything in my life that is not pleasing to you that I may repent. Use me to show others your love, bring them to repentance, and establish their life as your child. - Amen

How does this message apply to me? I need to keep myself prepared for the return of Christ.

“But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil”. 1 Peter 3:14-17

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” John 14:3

What has God spoken to you through this message? As I honor Him, He will prepare a place for me in heaven. I might face difficulties in this life, but He will give me what I need for each trial.

How can you apply this message to your life? I do not need to worry about this world and the evil that persists here. Rather, I need to keep my focus on God trying to live according to his Word.

How can you use this message to show God’s unconditional love to others? By showing them the love God has provided and explaining their need for Him in their lives.

What have you have learned through this message and scriptures? To love God with all my heart and soul, I must turn away from the things of this world. I need to focus on God’s hope when I might be subject to slander or persecution. God is faithful to His Word even when I don’t see or feel it. I need to trust Him in every aspect of my life.
