Theme: God's love
My personal prayer for today’s message: Lord, teach me to accept the fullness of your love.
How does this message apply to me? I need to realize the depth of God’s love for me.
Applicable Scriptures
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” (Isaiah 54:10)
“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” (1 John 3:1)
“And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5)
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7)
“Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.” (Psalm 136:26)
“Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So, I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.” (Psalm 63:3-4)
What has God spoken to you through this message? God’s love is not determined by my feelings, difficulties, or expectations. Rather, His love is complete and unconditional.
How can you apply this message to your life? To learn to accept that God’s love all-embracing.
How can you use this message to show God’s unconditional love to others? To love others with the love God has placed inside of me. To show them that they are unconditionally loved.
What have you learned through this message and scriptures? God’s love is perfect, whole, and inclusive. My judgments of myself do not negate His love for me.
